About this property

Buckeye Treehouse is a creekfront Yosemite-area cabin designed around the sound of water, filtered light, and a real sense of being among the trees. Lewis Creek runs behind the home, and the windows and skylights bring the landscape into the stay.

It is peaceful without being precious: a comfortable base for park days, reading mornings, family dinners, and evenings listening to the creek.

The Space

Three bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms make the home easy for couples traveling together or a family that wants privacy. The 2,000-square-foot layout gives guests room to settle in rather than live out of bags.

What Makes It Special

The home sits along 160 feet of creek frontage, with year-round water sounds, mature trees, skylights, and a calm indoor-outdoor rhythm that guests mention again and again.

Location

Set in Oakhurst near Yosemite’s South Gate, Buckeye Treehouse works well as a park base while still giving you a restorative place to return to at the end of the day.

I loved it, Benjamin is amazing ! The house was squeaky clean ! Everything was so nice. The creek was extremely beautiful. The kitchen was so big and nice! The beds were so comfy. The house is exactly like my pinterest board. I am booking for the summer because it was just amazing !

Beautiful cabin!! Loved the quiet stream running below the property and was a perfect t place for a cold plunge after our long hike to upper Yosemite falls - depending on the river water level there’s a little carve hot tub like lounge area that you can sit in and enjoy the ice cold rushing water! The downstairs studio is completely separate from the house upstairs and has its own little kitchen coffee which is nice! Bass Lake on the 4th of July was super fun as was Yosemite!

The cabin was beautiful and peaceful! I loved having coffee out on the deck listening to the creek. You are able to climb down to the creek. The air conditioning was able to keep the cabin nice and cool even during the heatwave. Great cabin and beautiful setting. We even had a couple deer visit us!

Banjamin’s place is a gem. It is so private that we could hear the roasters in the morning. It is also very continent, 10 mins to several hiking trails and to all the restaurants, Vons, pharmacy in Oakhurst. Highlight recommend

This place is heaven. The surroundings were incredible, the location great and the interior was perfect. Benjamin was an amazing host and I am really grateful that he let us stay at his place. We all agreed that this was probably the best Airbnb we had ever stayed in!
